Food Technology is an important life skill for everyone. It incorporates and encompasses science, maths and creative thinking. Students will learn basic cooking techniques, hygiene and kitchen safety as well as nutrition and budgeting. Lessons are practical and fun, although often challenging. Students will work cooperatively in small groups, solving problems and creating together. Food technology requires responsibility, as students are required to know each week what they are expected to contribute. In 2021, an emphasis will be placed on family meals on a budget.
