Kaitao Intermediate School has undertaken many changes over the past few years in order to provide students with the best learning experiences that we possibly can. As part of this expansion initiative, Kaitao Intermediate has developed a classroom space that fosters 21st-century learning skills and encourages competencies vital for students as they move through their schooling and into the future workforce.
Children will learn about digital citizenship, ethics, etiquette, and online safety. These are important aspects of participating in today’s world. Our students will also develop core skills, such as creativity, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and digital fluency. Students considering joining this class should exhibit some of the following attributes: curiosity, innovative thinking, problem-solving skills, independence, adaptiveness, and above all else a desire to learn and challenge themselves.
Having ongoing access to technology helps children develop greater independence, increases engagement, and develops skills necessary to thrive in the 21st century. I look forward to working with your child to help them learn, develop, and grow as digital citizens.
