Adventure Learning Academy
This is for students who are likely to benefit from low teacher/student
ratio with a strong focus on numeracy and literacy.

The Adventure Learning model has been successfully used at Kaitao before -generally students who read below their chronological age would benefit from this academy where literacy, numeracy, life skills, social skills and hands-on fun and adventure are part of the programme.

Challenge Academy
For students who require a lot of physical activity and prefer to be taught in terms of physical health and wellbeing. The academy offers physical, mental and academic challenge's. Numeracy and Literacy are central to learning through doing what children love - PE, Sport, Fitness and Health.

Discovery Academy      Discovery provides an academic challenge. It has a strong focus on numeracy, literacy and science yet also covers health, fitness and the arts in a fun learning environment. Students who opt for this academy will be ready to learn and contribute to a positive environment. Discovery students will have available the latest technologies and much of their work will be done on computers and laptops - so those with technology skills would benefit

Rumaki Academy

Students Who opt for total immersion Maori will be catered for in one class.  This academy also incorporates all aspects of the curriculum into their daily teachings.
